Nice game!
The mechanics are a little hard to grasp at the beginning, but I like the concept!
And it really gives the impression of motion sickness, nice job!

siddikinz responds:

Thanks for the review! I'm happy you enjoyed it :D

Nice game, I liked it!
Plus, I've seen the name of the relics... nice to see we have the same taste in games!

HapPie responds:

Sweet! Check out the others, there are several absolute gems, some of them I've rarely seen mentioned on the internet.

Great game!
I love when people experiment with new game concepts! This one was particularly clever!
Good job!

Matimoo7 responds:

Thanks for playing!

Nice game, but the jump mechanic needs a fix. At least a visible meter, some sort of "power bar" that lets us know how much powerful the jump we're charging is going to be. As of now, jumpin is a leap in the dark (no pun intended).

AnderssonKev responds:

I appreciate the feedback, I was taking inspiration from Jump King which don't have a visible jump meter but I agree, it could be added and make it a bit less frustrating!

Edit: I've added a visible jump meter. Let me know what you think!

Great game! I loved the graphics, and everything flows nicely (controls, combat, etc.)
The music is also very catchy!
I hope to see a part 2 or a full game soon (even on Steam, I wouldn't mind paying for a game like this!)

Yword responds:

Thank you so much! I'm glad you liked it! :)

- Crappy 3D graphics from the early 2000's: check.
- Royalty-free midi music: check.
- Some sprites taken from somewhere else (mostly from royalty-free collections): check.
- Original graphics that look like a low effort with Microsoft Paint: check.
- Janky controls: check.
- Backgrounds that looks like they've been done by applying basic textures in photoshop: check.
- Bad quality sound effects: check.
- The feeling of playing a game done with "The Games Factory": check.
- Some sounds done with a crappy mic: check.

Yep, the feeling of playing an early 2000's game is totally here. The kind of game that could be in one of those "500 games collection!" cd's that you found in retail stores.
And I totally love it.

I used to make games with The Games Factory with my brother many years ago, and this one made me cry one tear.

This program was created using The Games Factory.

Great job, I love ascii graphics!
It's been a relaxing experience... and even a challenging one, sometimes.
Can't wait to see more like this!
P.s.: I think there's a mistake at the end of the turbine factory level... when you ride the wind from the second turbine, you see the word "HIGHER!", and after that "NOW LEFT!". But to progress you must go right, not left.

Thetoulousaing responds:

Thanks a lot !
Well the main path is to the left (back on the first turbine), on the right is the access to one secret level. I guess not so secret now :P

As of now, it's not very fun to play.
1) Hazards should be more clear. How I was supposed to know that touching a chair would hurt me?
2) The double jump dynamic should be improved. When you do the second jump while peaking the first one, you do a proper double jump, but if you do it while in the descending phase, your second jump is only a couple millimetres high.
3) Platforms that can be reached with a second jump should be lower in height than now. In the second level, it took me several tries to get on the first platform because sometimes it felt like it was slightly out of reach. I managed to get on it by clipping into its side.
4) Why your health is always different when you start a level? Is that a randomized thing done on purpose, or is it just a bug?
It needs a lot of work.

SubinAnimation responds:

Heart thing being random was intentional.
Actually, the game was meant for android, my programmer friend converted it to HTML5 which I think is causing bugs. We are working on it. If you have android device, you can check our game here: https://mayat-games.itch.io/quaruntine-adventure

Thank you for dropping review

Incredibly simple and addicting!
I loved the simple, yet effective mechanics... all the troups are the same, and they have basically the same hp and attack values... so everything you need to do is learning what's the strategy of your enemy, and elaborate a counter-strategy to win him off!
Very funny... I'd love to see more levels!!!

Frenchie14 responds:

I won't be adding more levels to this prototype, but there's a full game coming! https://factionsevolvedgame.com/

Loved it! A very nice concept, creative and addicting! Plus, I loved the music!
When I was in elementary school, smartphones didn't exist yet, and laptops weren't a thing... there were "portable computers", which were almost-5-kg suitcases with a microscopic screen (basically a tower pc with a handle and a small screen). So, just to pretend, I made a small fake portable laptop with paper, and it had an orange handle (also of paper, of course). Playing this game is almost like getting to play a real game on that paper laptop, so thank you also for bringing back those good memories!

Prox276 responds:

Thanks! I am happy that you enjoyed it! :))
