[Abobo's Big Adventure]

A neverending classic!

Nice game, but it has some glitches that make it nearly impossible:
1) The dagger doesn't instakill enemies, as you stated. I've thrown all my daggers to a skeleton, and it was still on its legs, throwing his bones.
2) For some reason, some enemies keep themselves at security distance from the whip's reach. It happened with bats, zombies, skeletons and fishmen. This makes the game pretty frustrating, because getting close enough to hit them is very difficult.

Plus: I don't know if the gaps were meant to kill you if you fall in them, but actually if you fall inside them nothing happens: you neither die, nor lose health.

A lot of people complain that the game is buggy as hell... but I think they have browser/flash player issues, or haven't understood how the controls work, 'cause the game works perfectly fine for me!
The game itself is good: the controls are perfectly responsive, and Lucy never misses a jump or a grip. However, the landscape is pretty boring: walls, walls, walls, spikes, walls, walls, soldiers, walls, spikes, soldiers, walls, etc.
I know this is an old game, but I'd love to see a sequel!

The "filling bar" feature is a cool idea... I'm looking for Chapter 2!
By the way, if you accept suggetions, you should put more "one-button" minigames, like the one where you grab the money.

Btw, I'd put a "run" option... or at least, speed up the player's legs a bit... I know that the slow movement is made to add up to the creepy atmosphere, but sometimes it can be a little frustrating.

Gotcha! Lot's of people have had come complaints about the movement speed of the character, so that's definitely something I'll be tweaking.

Maybe the fighting system is sometimes a bit confusing (a "parry" more would have been of help), but it's an excellent game!

[NG's 20th Anniversary Collab]

As I say in my personal info section, I've created my NG account in 2005, but I started visiting NG daily since 2003. I've never been an active member of the community (never submitted anything, never participated on the forums, etc.), but MAN! I can say with no doubt that NG is a part of my life. A part that I hope will continue to live forever. Jeez, while I'm writing this I've noticed that it's 12 FUCKING YEARS that I visit NG! I've never checked daily a site as long as this!
Anyway! The whole thing nearly made me cry... I've seen ALL the characters that have cheered my days, even the older ones! Miss Dynamite, Blockhead, and all the others... Ok, I don't know what to write anymore. Oh yeah: I've seen this site grow, and change. It's touching to see how it has changed since 2003... it's like watching a child grow. Thank you guys! Thanks to Tom Fulp, the mastermind behing NG. Thanks to ALL flash artists which submitted their games/movies/audio/art, and created characters that I'll remember forever! And finally, thanks to the creators of this collab and to every artist that decided to partecipate in this wonderful celebration!

(p.s.: I've found a little bug: when you are playing the tutorial, it says to press "esc" and then another button to go back to the menu screen. I've tried, but by doing this I simply restart the tutorial from the beginning. I'm using Firefox, I don't know if this is a browser issue)
